Although Alican Leblebici is known for his hyper-realist portraits and self-portraits, he produces for different mediums such as photography, installation, video art and sculpture. The artist, who explores political, social and cultural codes and whose resistance to oppressive systems is the subject, chooses to tell the issues he is interested in by working on the stories of people who experience them firsthand, making him an intermediary. In his recent productions, he explores the concept of power through art, body and politics: the aesthetics of disobedience in it, and with it the concept of powerless. It focuses on the way that the powerful assert their power, and on the challenger's forms of rebellion-objection. Keywords: power, power, identity, crime
